So the deck I’m using the most is Thoth. It is really important for me that cards I’m doing readings with are somehow clear, without distracting illustrations. If, for example, wands are fire element, it is logical that wands will be reddish, so when you look at the spread on the table you can see which colour/element is dominating, and that  is important for reading, isn’t it? There are so many decks that have beautiful illustrations but they are not usable, not for me though. Illustrations can be very rich and somehow disturbing so they can have opposite effect – they can block my visions. Continue reading
